Individuality vs Functionality series

This work was made in response to the book "The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference" by Malcolm Gladwell. I was partially intrigued by the idea of context and how surroundings can so heavily shape an individuals identity. I then started to further explore these themes amongst, purpose, and the human condition. These explorations led me to carve portraits into casted gloves and thus present them with the slightest bit of contextual information which thus altered the persona of the glove.
